we Make the
change
Hunger is still a problem in our neighborhood.
Your support can allow our community to expand its care for our food resources and promote healthier neighborhoods.
By donating your time and resources to Aloha Kai ‘Āina, we can work to support localized solutions for Honolulu communities to build multi-generational food resilience. Your efforts will support the individual care and management of fruit treeʻs and food resources in our Honolulu community. Phase 1 of this project is to focus on establishing the food resources of the Hawaiian Homestead, Papakōlea where the multi-layered micro-climates and more than 50 acres of fallowed DHHL land can support a diverse and healthy food forest for the more than 1,000 Native Hawaiians and their families in this immediate and underserved Honolulu community.
